Hello and Welcome!
My name is Tegan, and for the past 10 years I have been the Executive Officer at The Centre for Western Mindfulness. At The Centre we train people to become mentors of our program, Pathways to Mindfulness (PTM). PTM is a spiritual awareness program for those who have become disillusioned with life and are searching for a more joyful and fulfilling life experience.
Following the birth of my second child, I encountered a exceptionally challenging two-and-a-half-year period of depression, a profound yet transformative experience that today I can say I am genuinely grateful for. This struggle was the catalyst that propelled my self-awareness to new depths, and enabled me to grasp spiritual insights that were previously elusive. This heightened awareness fostered a significant growth in my connection to my true self and its source, resulting in heightened inner peace and joy. I am just thankful that I was already exposed to the PTM process before my life spiralled, as it gave me a sense of direction during this challenging and overwhelming time in my life.
My personal experience has taught me that self-discovery is not a destination but an ongoing process. It is a deeply personal and unique experience for each individual. It's a beautiful, intricate journey that requires patience, curiosity, and a willingness to introspect. As a mindfulness mentor, I am here to support you on your path to increased awareness, and to offer a framework that will support you as you navigate your inner world.
